ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC SESSION OF THE MUSEUM The Hunedoara County Council and the Deva Museum of Dacian and Roman Civilizations organize the Museum’s annual Session of Scientific Papers in the period 17 – 18 June 2010. The theme of this edition is the 130 anniversary of the Society of History and Archeology of the county of Hunedoara: establishment, activity, members, and achievements. The session has six sections covering a variety of topics: archeology, history, history of culture, ethnography, art, restoration and conservation, and natural sciences. The event will gather more than 100 experts from Romanian museums and universities (Bucharest, Timisoara, Arad, Zalau, Cluj, Sibiu, Deva). The opening of the Museum’s annual Session is at the Téglás Gábor High School in Deva, at 10 AM on Thursday, 17 June 2010. |
