TEMPORARY EXHIBITION MILITARIA MEDIEVALAE
The Hunedoara County Council and the Museum of Dacian and Roman Civilizations organize the temporary exhibition MILITARIA MEDIEVALAE.
The opening of the exhibition is in the Magna Curia building at 6 P.M. on July 30, 2010, in the presence of the Order of the Knights of Hunedoara.
The exhibition has been realized in collaboration with: Brukenthal Museum of Sibiu, Municipal Museum of Medias, Banatului Museum of Timisoara, Corvinilor Castle of Hunedoara.
The exhibition will consist of pieces of armament and medieval military equipment dating from the 10th – 16th centuries, from the collections of museums and archeological research. These pieces are specific to the areas of Transylvania and Banat. Some of them were made by armourer guilds from Sibiu and Medias.

The exhibition MILITARIA MEDIEVALAE can be visited daily, with the exception of Monday, from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. during 30 July – 10 October 2010.
