WHITE NIGHT OF MUSEUMS 2011 DEVA

    Hunedoara County Council and the Museum of Dacian and Roman Civilization are organized on 14/15 May 2011, the Magna Curia building, WHITE NIGHT OF MUSEUMS, national and international events in which museums have opened their doors free to the visitors. .
     On this occasion, the Museum of Dacian and Roman Civilization, the audience was entertained with plenty of events:
  1. Opening of the temporary exhibition IN SYRIA AND DACIA ANTIQUES (made by National Museum of History in partnership with the Syrian Embassy in Bucharest). This is a photo-documentary exhibition which aims to highlight existing analogies between Romanian colony Palmyra in Syria and the capital of Roman Dacia Traiana Colonia Ulpia Sarmizegetusa.
  2. Presentation of ancient costumes, demonstration of military tactics and techniques by association „TERRA DACICA AETERNA” Cluj-Napoca.
  3. Un A ceramic workshop in which children were made under the guidance of Romanian era artifacts museum specialists. Following the development of this workshop, on June 1, 2011, the papers will be awarded to the Museum of Dacian and Roman Civilisation with diplomas and a free trip to Ulpia Traiana Sarmizegetusa.
  4. Ancient sports contests
  5. team proposed activitiesECOFEST JUNIOR: modeling in clay, painting workshop and interpretation of historical songs and dances.
    The action initiated by the Museum of Dacian and Roman Civilization was a great success, and those interested are welcome daily from Tuesday to Sunday, except Mondays, between 10.00-18.00,to visit the temporary exhibition "Syria and Dacia in ancient .”.
