THE TEMPORARY EXHIBITION NICOLAE VAIDEANU – THE SPATIAL ADVENTURE The Museum of Dacian and Roman Civilisation Deva and the Museum of Ethnography and Folk Art Orattie organise the temporary exhibition entitled NICOLAE VaIDEANU – THE SPATIAL ADVENTURE. Nicolae Vaideanu had a series of practical and theoretical contributions regarding the development of the rockets’ technology, resulted in invention patents, studies and mock-ups. In May 1941 and October 1944 he obtained the patents for the rockets with chamber of multiple burning. At the Mechanical Workshops of Petrotani he designed and constructed partially a rocket with liquid fuel. At his house in Orattie, during his life, the curios visitors were able to see and examine strange UFO’s built by Vaideanu, as well as folders with detailed calculations, studies and researches in this domain. The exhibition can be daily visited, from September to December 2009, from Monday to Friday; Saturdays and Sundays closed. |
