    The Museum of Ethnography and Folk Art in Orattie, located on the Aurel Vlaicu Square no. 1, was established in 1952 as a local history museum of the Orattie region. Later on, in 1973, the museum was reorganised as a museum of folk art, while in 1990 it became a department of the Museum of Dacian and Roman Civilisation Deva.
